2009 Photo Slideshow

Sitka celebrated 50 years of Statehood in 2009. This great event brought a number of dignitaries to town. In one of these photos you will see lined up at the National Cemetery, Governor Sean Parnell and his wife, Cindy, Lt. Governor Craig Campbell, Senator Bert Stedman and Representative Peggy Wilson.
